Service Description
Join us for an exclusive, Dessert Wine Barrel Tasting that offers a behind the scenes look at how our dessert wines come to life. During this guided experience, you will receive tastes of our dessert wines directly from the barrel, paired with chocolate and other sweet treats. You will also learn about the traditional methods and historic wine styles that inspire our dessert wines, including Pineau des Charentes from France and Port from Portugal. We will explore how dessert wines are made, introduce the solera aging system used for generations in Spain and Portugal, and share our vision for developing a solera style program here at Alexis Bailly Vineyard. This is a rare opportunity to taste evolving wines and deepen your understanding of dessert winemaking. Note: Please let us know when you book if you have any dietary restrictions.
